Private Yin Yoga sessions allow you the opportunity to deeply relax in the comfort of your own home. Each private class is designed to open and soften the areas of your body that feel tight, releasing energetic blockages, and making way for new thoughts, sensations, and feelings.
Yin Yoga combines long-held poses (3-5 minutes) with mindfulness—each pose a mini meditation. Private Yin Yoga sessions allow you to process the thoughts and feelings that arise, tap into your bliss and all of this while increasing your flexibility and re-balancing your energy!
For some clients I also use my voice and singing bowl to offer sound healing. I cannot explain the science behind it—what I do know is that these sound vibrations are very healing and allow for emotional releases and healing. Each practice is tailored to you—just let me know what you need! 🙂
I provide yoga blocks and bolsters. No experience required.

I highly recommend yin yoga and have found Katie to be a knowledgeable, caring, and loving teacher. She is adept at helping you by customizing each pose to meet your bodies needs. I started yin yoga with Katie after several years of pain and limited mobility from a failed back surgery. Traditional medical treatment including massage and physical therapy has totally failed to help me and I was experiencing pain and weakness in my back and right leg that was impacting my day to day life. It was impossible to walk short distances without a cane, to climb stairs, or stand in lines for more than 5 minutes. My back/leg/foot pain was very intense and draining. How long is a Private Yin Yoga class?
75 minutes. The class will be 60 minutes in length. We will spend a few minutes before we begin discussing which area(s) of the body you would like to focus on and few minutes afterwards discussing specific poses you can work with between sessions.
Where do you offer sessions?
I provide private classes at either my home in Timnath or at your home. My zipcode is 80547. If you live outside of Fort Collins and the Loveland area, please connect with me via the contact form before purchasing a class or package, so we can discuss our options. 🙂
How often should I have a session with you?
Some clients enjoy weekly private classes, others prefer to book a single session with me when they feel in most need of rebalancing.
How many people can be in a private class?
I am happy to provide private classes for two people at a time if you are interested to share a class with a friend or loved one. I will bring all props necessary (bolsters, blocks, straps and blankets.)
